Report: Deutsche Bank to shut down Russian cap market ops by mid-2016
MOSCOW, May 19 (PRIME) -- Deutsche Bank plans to shut down its operations on the Russian capital market by mid-2016, co-CEO John Cryan told Bloomberg on Thursday.
Cryan said that the bank will “concentrate our efforts on around a third of our clients, who already produce 98% of our revenues today” at the securities unit.
In September 2015, Deutsche Bank said it decided to close its corporate banking and securities business presence in Russia but it will keep transaction banking services.
